About the Team

LT-FLASH is the result of years of development, reverse engineering, testing, and dedication to the GM LT1 platform. What began as a collaborative effort to expand flashing and tuning solutions for LT1 PCMs eventually evolved into a completely independent project focused on creating a more capable, modern, and enthusiast-driven platform.

Earlier versions of the project were built alongside Tom from Gearhead EFI, whose early work and contributions helped lay the groundwork for LT1 PCM development. That foundation helped inspire the next generation of tools and pushed the platform further than ever before.

Since then, the project has been fully redesigned from the ground up. Both the hardware and software have been completely redeveloped into what is now known as LT-FLASHv2. The new platform features an entirely new CPU architecture, redesigned communications hardware, improved reliability, and integrated dual wideband inputs for advanced real-time tuning and diagnostics.

Development of LT-FLASH has involved countless hours of engineering, bench testing, vehicle testing, reverse engineering, and refinement to create a professional-grade solution built specifically for the LT1 community. The goal has always remained the same: provide powerful, reliable, and accessible tools for enthusiasts, tuners, racers, and restorers who continue to keep the LT1 platform alive.

I also want to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to the project over the years—especially those who donated PCMs for development and testing, helped validate hardware revisions, provided feedback, or supported the project in any way. Your support played a major role in making LT-FLASH what it is today.

Welcome to the next generation of LT1 tuning and flashing.
